Shocks shorter than the OE length have a reduced travel, this could affect the ride quality and handling of the motorcycle.
Lowering the motorcycle will reduce ground clearance and cornering.
Before purchasing or attempting to install shock absorbers of a different length than the original length, check that the wheel travel can be changed without causing space problems such as swingarm/axle and exhaust contact, as well as chain/belt guard or tire contact.
The OE top shock mounting covers do not fit these shocks.
Not for use with rear lowering kits.
